Managing Partner

With over 35 years in manufacturing and machining experience, Steve has owned and operated 3 businesses including Soteria, LLC. He started Soteria, LLC from the ground up in 2015 and took on his partner and longtime friend Del Marsh in 2016.

A journeyman machinist, Steve also possesses 3 patents and 2 patent pending’s. He is certified in MasterCam, Solidworks and multiple CNC programming platforms.

Steve is married to Cheryl, father of 3 and grandfather to 6. He enjoys being outdoors fishing, hunting, trail riding with his grandcritters and amateur rocketry.

Sales & Engineering

BS Mechanical Engineer, UAB.

Phillip has worked in manufacturing with Fontain Trailer Company before landing at Anniston Army Depot for 32 years. His experience with projects M1 Main Battle Tank, Howitzers, Small Arms as well as heavy load transportation such as the moving of the Hubble Telescope for deployment.

Phillip is married to Michelle, father of 3 and grandfather of 3.

A die-hard Crimson Tide fan, he also enjoys fishing and riding his grandchildren on his pontoon boat along Logan Martin Lake.

Quality Lab Technician

BS Mathematics, Jacksonville State University.

Leslie brings her experience in the aerospace industry to us from McDonald-Douglas/Boeing Corporation. Her technical abilities of reading blueprints and data packages are invaluable to our quality lab and the requirements of AS9100D. She also brings shop floor experience of the aircraft industry with an understanding of the demands our aerospace customers expect from us as a supplier.

Leslie is married to Billy for 35 years, mother to 4 with 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and woodworking with her husband Billy.

Quality Control Manager

AAS Drafting and Design, GSCC.

Carsyn joined our team in 2016 at the onset. Making a career change after 10 years in customer service, she went back to school and received an Associate’s degree in drafting and design with a focus on the machining world. She has been certified in CMM software’s Calypso by Zeiss and PC-DMIS by Hexagon, along with their machine counterparts.

Carsyn married Richard in 2018 and is the mother of 3. When she isn’t at work or chasing children, she enjoys making pottery, reading and playing dungeons and dragons with her husband and oldest son.

Shop Manager

One of the best people you’ll ever meet. Leo has been with Soteria since the inception of the company back in 2016. Before coming to work at Soteria, Leo had been working together with Steve since 2010. He has learned his trade as a machinist through years of on-the-job training. Leo has earned the respect

to lead our shop staff and we are proud to have him on our team.

Leo is married to Angela with 4 children and 3 grandchildren. When he is not at work he enjoys fishing, going to the beach, sightseeing and always playing with the grandchildren.
